Friday Fun Picks: Halloween
Halloween is truly the best holiday, and I find it a real shame that in some countries they don't even have it! San Francisco, on the other hand, really comes alive at Halloween time. Haight St. today was packed with people shopping for costuming, and some people were even decked out early. For those of you who don't have a Haight St. nearby, here are some games to help you get into the Halloween spirit. Succubus Oh if only there was a game playable online very much like a classic Castlevania but featuring a woman wearing tight leather who could turn into a bat-winged creature. Well, here it is! Fun with whips and secret passages. Ghost Ship A promo game for the movie. Very atmospheric and satisfying, and short enough to play between trick-or-treaters. The Dead Case A neat, quite in depth point and click adventure game. You "awake" in a coffin and must figure out the mystery behind your death. Trick or Treat Trick or treating with the Kids Next Door. Even if you care nothing for or about the cartoon, this is a great little game. Clever, cute and fun. Different costumes give you different abilities which allow you to clear the town of all their candy. And in the end, its all about the candy. If you know of a game you'd like to see on Friday Fun Picks, shoot me an email at: jetgirl[at]jetgirl.net. Happy Haunting!
