Some online fun for gamers

A couple fun things for you gamers to play around with on the web... I was poking around the other day and accidentally stumbled across my colleague Jose Zagal's GameLog site, in much more complete and lovely shape than the last time I saw it. GameLog is a specialized blogging site specifically for gamers to track their game playing experiences with specific games, and allowing them to reccomend (or not) games to their fellow GameLoggers. To my very happy surprise, I found that my GameLog was in fact still intact. I am going to dig into updating it really soon. This is a great tool. I have added a link to my game log page on the right of this blog. My other cool new discovery was made at The Inventory. The Inventory is an adventure game magazine on pdf and distributed over their web-site. I haven't read one of them yet. But what I have done is checked out The Inventory radio. Click on the "Tune In" link under the picture of the old-fashioned radio, and their radio program will load in WinAmp. The radio program is made up of a whole lot of fantastic tunes from different adventure games. The music is either really beautiful or really fun, and it is sure to bring back fond memories for the players of the specific games. Best of all, there are no commercials! :) Enjoy!
